Rudi Fischerlehner works as a drummer in the fields
between rock, jazz, improvised and experimental music. He also writes
and produces music for a variety of bands, shortmovies, art-videos

He was born in the Austrian countryside in 1977

Jazz/Impro-evenings in local underground clubs and study classical
percussion at the conservatory in Linz for some time. After finishing
school he moved to Vienna, where he has been a member of Indierock-Bands
Blendwerk and Roh and impro-trio kontext.
After
shorter stays in New York and a journey through Africa he ended
up living in Berlin. He plays in bands Pinx and Erste Stufe Haifisch,
also performs regularly with Olaf Rupp, Andreas Willers and Dominique
Pifarely among others, and sits in frequently with electroclashers
Bonaparte. He runs a little record-label called Farai-Records.
